Leadership Development Program

Regional Acceptance Corporation is an automobile finance company that is headquartered in Greenville, NC with over $1B in assets. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T), one of the largest and most secure banks in the nation, whose assets exceed $100 billion. For nearly 30 years, we have partnered with car dealerships in metropolitan areas to purchase and service car loan contacts for consumers with limited access to other means of credit. In addition, we purchase bulk portfolios from the complete range of credit spectrums to infuse capital into the finance industry.

We hire recent college graduates to develop the next generation of branch managers required to lead our highly profitable, expanding business.

PRE-REQUISITES:
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Business-related BA or BS degree
  • Ability to relocate in any of over 20 states
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, assertive negotiation skills, and decisiveness are required.
    NOTE: Neither BB&T nor RAC sponsor employees for H1B Visas or the like.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
If your skills match our needs, we will request you complete an on-line leadership assessment.

ADDITIONAL INTERVIEWS:
Our Senior Management Staff conducts additional interviews on the telephone or in person. This is when the application is completed.

HIRING PROCESS:
After you accept our offer for employment, we conduct a thorough background check with your fingerprints and a drug screen.

TRAINING and RELOCATION:
Training is conducted in Greenville, NC, for about three months. Then, you will continue your training in one of our NATIONWIDE branches. Usually our associates relocate at least twice within the first year.

 

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:

We hire applicants into our Leadership Development Program with the intention of developing and promoting you into a branch manager or equivalent leadership position.
