Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Information

The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) is a federal law that provides protections for military members and their dependents.  One form of these protections is a maximum interest rate of 6% during the period of which the service member is on active duty. If the service member went to active duty status after the account contracted, he/she may be eligible per this SCRA protection. You will need to submit a written request for this SCRA benefit along with a copy of the official activation orders, which include the duration of the active duty status.

If you have additional questions or think that you may be eligible for protections under SCRA, please contact our Customer Support Services Group between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday at 866-644-7687.
