Please read the following before accepting the terms of the agreement:
If you’re negatively affected or think you may be eventually affected by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we’re here to help. Our teammates are all committed to working with our clients to reduce financial stress during this challenging and uncertain time. You can request to extend past due, current or one or more future payments until the end of your contract. In order to request an extension of up to three (3) payments, you can complete and submit this extension request for consideration by Regional Acceptance Corporation (RAC). Based on your need, please check the appropriate box for 30 Days (1 month), 60 Days (2 months), or 90 Days (3 months) in the Extension Period area. Please note that, for the extension to be effective and approved by RAC, the questions regarding ability and willingness to pay must be answered “Yes” and you must not have received an extension during the 45 days prior to RAC’s receipt and approval of your extension request. After this extension is approved and processed, you can still choose to continue making payments, which will be applied per the terms of your contract.
Payment Extension Disclosures:
Finance Charges will continue to accrue on the unpaid balance at the contract rate. By extending one or more installments, you will pay more finance charges than originally disclosed. Per the terms of your contract, payments made after the extension will be applied to any accrued fees and charges, then the interest accrued during the extension, and then to principal.
Note: If My/Our Account is a Texas Retail Installment Contract, the following notice applies: Finance charges will continue to accrue on the unpaid balance at the contract rate. By deferring one or more installments you will pay more finance charges than originally disclosed.
Depending upon the state where you bought your vehicle, you may need to sign and return an Extension Agreement to Regional Acceptance to complete the Extension request process. If you are eligible for an Extension and an Agreement is required, you will receive an email with instructions. The email, Agreement, and/or electronic signature system will contain information on how to return it to Regional.
I/We understand that if my/our extension request is approved by RAC, RAC is allowing me/us to postpone the payment(s) until the end of my/our contract. I/We understand that interest will continue to accrue on the unpaid account balance. I/We understand that this does not include any additional insurance premium and that any insurance coverage provided in my/our contract will expire on the expiration dates shown on the insurance policies. I/We understand that I/we may prepay the unpaid balance at any time without penalty.
By submitting this extension request, I/we acknowledge the terms and conditions of the extension if it is approved by RAC. By submitting this extension request, I/we represent that all parties signed on the contract are requesting the extension. I/We understand that this extension being requested is not valid until received and approved by Regional Acceptance Corporation. I/We understand that if Regional Acceptance sends an email to me/us stating whether the extension has been approved or not approved, such email will be sent to the email address associated with my/our Regional Acceptance online service account.
